Centennial Row
Centennial Row is the renovation of four adjoining buildings into 8 residential units in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Developed and constructed by the Model Group, these four building sit across the street from Cincinnati’s School for the Creative and Performing Arts. The three story, brick historic buildings were badly deteriorated when The Model Group purchased the property and began development.
Because the units are in long, narrow floor plates, the design had to capture as much natural light from the front and rear ends of the building. The design team opened up the interior as much as possible, but then utilized curved ceiling planes to define spaces within. Four of the units are 2-story lofts. Roof decks are provided for those four units at the 3rd and 2nd floor levels.
